About Us

    "HorseLovers" is a web site that helps advertise horse rescues around the U.S. I am a 14 year old horse crazy girl and I created this web site to help horse rescues.  I try to put as many horse rescues on my web page to help advertise them and make their bussinesess grow. This web site brings no money to me in any way, therefor it is only to help horses and horse rescue. I have been trying to get people to notice what is going on with all the horse across the U.S. and to make their lives better. It is important for me to make a change even if it is a small one. 

Our Users

    I want to encourage my users to help horse rescues near their homes. I am trying to make a change in the way horses around the U.S. are treated by helping horse rescues. If you are one of the people that happen to come across my site PLEASE find a horse rescue near you. Getting involved with a rescue does not necessarily mean you need to adopt a horse. You could help by donating your time, money or supplies. Volunteering is another way you could help a rescue near you. If you wanted you could even sponser or foster a horse to help the rescue while they find a permentent home.

Spotlight Rescue of the Week

    The Colorado Horse Rescue (CHR) has been helping horses since 1986. Located in Longmont Co, the CHR is and exelent rescue to check out and get involved with. They can hold 50-60 horses if needed and are extremly organized. It is easy to volunteer there or help them out in your free time. The trainers are very talenteded and help non-trusting horses trust again. Their horses come from many different sences including slaughterhouses and abandaments. 

I recomend you check them out if you live near Longmont and see how you can help.
